The Southwark Lido by EXYZT
Union Street, SE1 Series: London Festival of Architecture Organised by: The Architecture Foundation
A temporary installation by French architectural collective EXYZT y providing a meeting and bathing space for the residents of Southwark, and the general public alike. Following in the tradition of Roman baths, which provided a setting for uninhibited political discussions, and hamams, serving as places of social gathering and ritual cleansing, the Southwark Lido will host a variety of activities in an unusual and entertaining environment.
