Open City London Architecture Tours: Kings Cross Urban Jog
Sun 19 Aug '12 11:00 - 13:00

Kings Cross Station Euston Road London n1 9ap

Urban Jogs arrive at Kings Cross! If you love jogging and passionate about seeing and experiencing London’s urban environment, then come and join Ade’s urban jog tour of Kings Cross with tour leader, fitness expert and urbanist Ade Aboaba and urbanist Michael Owens.
Starting and ending at Kings Cross Station, the 8-kilometer (5 mile) jog tour will combine a story of Kings Cross’s urban development with a decent cardiovascular workout.
The area is one of Europe’s largest regeneration projects. The tour explores the Kings Cross urban environment, with its immense potential, its neighbourhoods with diverse and colourful histories, and the constant challenge of development pressures.
The jog will be at an easy-going pace. There will be regular pauses (up to 5 minutes) along the route to rest, stretch and to talk about what we’ve seen or about to see. If you’re comfortable running 10 to 12-minute miles then please come and join us!
Duration 2 hours approx. plus a group discussion afterwards
Cost £14.50
There are only 14 places per tour.
