The RIBA Trust manages the cultural assets of the Royal Institute of British Architects, founded in 1834 for ‘the advancement of architecture’.
As the UK’s national architecture centre, we have an internationally recognised collection of over four million books, periodicals, drawings, photographs, models and other archives in the RIBA British Architectural Library.
We also deliver the RIBA Awards, RIBA Stirling Prize, the Royal Gold Medal for Architecture, International and Honorary Fellowships, talks by architects and non-architects, a full programme of exhibitions, the RIBA International Book Awards (with RIBA Bookshops), education programmes, the RIBA International Conference and the RIBA Information Centre.
In addition, we collaborate and work closely with
the Victoria and Albert Museum, as part of the
V&A+RIBA Architecture Partnership.
